As many of you know mice have been a big part of my life since I moved into their forest with my birdseed, Reese's habit,
and insulated walls. I can't tell you how many times I have woke up with a mouse either on my night stand or on the bed. On
top of that they are constantly running up and down the ceiling, scratching on the insulating board, or sending the dogs into
a tizzy. Big Balls is very worried that I am going to catch toxo-plasmosis or rabies. I loose alot of sleep after being woken up
at 5am by a mouse trying to eat my chocolate covered fingertip or when they try to get a drink from my cup of water and spill
it all over. I've tried ultrasonic sound waves, keeping all food sealed up, Hav-a-Hart traps, and have even begged them to
just stay away from my bed. They don't listen, they don't care, and after finding a pile of birdseed in my clean bed they must
feel the rath. This is natural selection, survival of the fittest, and I am the boss of this ranch. So besides my disdain for
killing anything and my guilt about creating this problem initially I have decided to launch an offensive against them. War is
hell and my mission is to send the enemy into retreat and persude them to never return. Below you will see the first casulties
of this offensive and we expect more until the message is clear......This is Ace's Place....scat or die

A New World Headquarters update here with a great picture of a recent sunset. Every night we have a rainbow off the front porch and luckily some nights it gets really colorful. There are more leaves on the ground then on the trees but we had a spectacular fall. Our forest full of maple and oak produces some unbelievable color schemes and I am trying to get as much of it as possible on my walls. What? Leaves on the walls? Ya you heard right.... my bathroom walls are covered in leaves. It actually worked out really well and the leaves maintained there colors very well after being sealed in acrylic. It took some time to gather all the leaves but what a way to spend an afternoon....wandering around the woods looking for interior decorations. Besides the cosmic interior design most of the work up on the ranch is geared toward getting ready for winter. So lots of insulating, cutting firewood, sealing up windows and doors, and waging a war on the resident rodents.......... read below but a warning: GRAPHIC IMAGES.
