To your left you have a "Meeting of The Captain's", of course the Captain of the BuzzoMobile needs no introduction but the Captain next to him may. Captain Michael J Felsen of the United States Air Force, Wellsville native who now lives in Germany. Cpt. Felsen was in town to celebrate his son Jack's baptism and made it down to the pub for a few. Good to see Michael and his little family.
Below you have most of the Captain's sisters with his niece Jill and boyfriend. It's nice to see such a bunch of happy smiling faces.......

I got a very interesting email that brings the Barbarosa to
mind and strangely enough the same day I got the email a
great Garwood story emerged from life's canvas. First an
excert from the email :
"A simple way to take measure of a country is to look
at how many want IN, and how many want OUT. Also, there are only
two
defining forces that have ever offered to die for you. 1. Jesus Christ
,2. The American G.I. One died for your soul, the other for you
"Freedom" Thanx for your Support of the Troops...you too Dave G.
It made me think about Dave and the reality that we are
surrounded, ever more, by patriots who have been scared
by war. Dave was transformed by the violence of war and
we should all remember that before we judge.
So ironically Dave shows up at the pub Saturday morning
desperate for money and he announces that he's got a hot
sale on a full length black leather duster going on. I
expressed a little interest because any rancher should have
a duster on hand. This duster was once a premium
garment sent from Dave's brother Lon in South Korea and
Dave has kept decent care of it. We haggled and talked
over the duster like two old traders from the Old West
before coming to a compromise. I took the jacket right down
to The Giant for a good dry cleaning. As I turned to walk
toward the produce section I spied a gaudy transvestite
walking at me in full length tie-tyed dress. My first reaction
was to say "I like your dress" and the he-she turned to me
and hisssssed like a snake...... and people say Wellsville
lacks diversity and culture.
