Happy Mother's Day to all you lovely ladies!!!! Its a pretty important holiday when you consider the impact
that mother's have on life in general.... it should be the most important holiday of the year. Better Days has
two mothers's, Jeanne and Ann, who secretly run the show using the power of suggestion. Meaning that if
we ever have any ideas of getting out of control or misbehaving seriously they can suggest otherwise
without speaking. Both of these mothers contribute a large amount of there extra time to making Better
Days, specifically our food, a true success. They make at least half of our daily specials which some say is
our best food and both spend plenty of time working the grill, fryers, and pizza oven. So the next time you
are enjoying the food at Better Days remember that the reason it tastes so good is cause 'Mom is
Cooking'!!!!!
Congrats to Dan Sorensen for joining the actual Mohawk club!!! "Dirty Dan" as we call him let Kathy Rox
take the clippers to him and now has the second tallest mohawk in town....mine being the longest. Dan is
one of the Texas Hot's main grill cooks and it would be great to have him working in such a high profile
location but his employers insist he wear a cap. He also is the son of a preacher, Rev. Sorensen, who by all
reports is not a stereotypical man of the cloth. As progessive as the Reverend may be he already tried to
match my charity contribution for Dan to cut off the 'hawk. So Dan is getting alot of grief for taking the
leap... but that's half the point.... and the fun!!!!

In an effort to keep myself from pickling myself with Wild Turkey Denny is taking over some of the late night duties at the pub.
