| THIS WEEKEND LIVE MUSIC DOUBLEHEADER!!!! Friday 3/7 "Foolin'" All American Bar Rock n Roll Saturday 3/8 - "Captain Jack's Blues Band" The area's best blues band...... Don't sit home waiting for winter to turn to spring.....get out and feed your soul with live music. "Foolin" always puts on a hard rockin show and the whole band hails from Wellsville. They know how to put on a party!!!!! Saturday night we have one of our most popular but not-so-local bands, "Captain Jack's Blues Band". This upbeat blues band has all the right ingredients - powerful bluesy female vocals, raging slide guitar and harmonica by Captain Jack, and a rhythm section that puts out the big beat. Stop in and see why we keep having Captain Jack back!!!! Supporting live local music is kinda like supporting the communities aggregate mental health.....what would life be like without it? I for one would go totally loco and be forced to start my own house band. Since I can't play a lick or sing it would be a sure bummer compared to the quality of music we typically have at Better Days. So please support our musical events or I will get bagpipes and practice in the bar on weekend evenings. The continued generosity from our customers isn't surprising but still very appreciated. I've been thinking about how to thank our sponsors and lure more people into making a donation. I decided that I will create two nice benefits of adopting one of our milkjug mohawks or to joining the revolution and getting a mohawk. The first is that we are going to have a mohawk revolution party sometime this summer and it will be quite exclusive to our sponsors and fellow revolutionaries. The second incentive to join the circus is that all sponsors and mohicans will be admitted to both of our summer block parties as our guests and maybe we will have some kinda VIP section with things like champagne and caviar???? Well maybe no caviar but you get the point.... |
