Hum's B-Day Bash was a real 'redneck freakshow twangbang' as I just described it to a good pal who missed the show. The Hummer played his classic country as good as ever for the faithful "HumHeads". The next generations of the Johnson family played a real tight set and "The Burning Hills Band" gets better every time I hear them. The guys from the Music Alley showed up and did a handful of songs highlighted by a kick ass "Cold Shot"(stevie ray) and then a real rippin "One Way Out" (allman bros). Bob Hartle showed up and he did a great set with Hum and the boys. If you like 'chicken pickin' style guitar work then don't miss Bob when he comes to the pub(tba). To round out the party the "NoiseGods" returned after a long drummer search with a real drummer. They played some great tunes and we all had fun banging out heads against the wall of sound. I did book the NoiseGods but forgot the date so keep an eye on the event calendar!!! Here are some good pics of the party.....if Hum doesn't die this year we will do it again the first sunday in march 2009!!!!
