What does CSA mean?

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)
is a partnership between members of
the community and a farm operation.
Community members buy a “share” from
the farm prior to the start of the growing
season and in return receive fresh
vegetables each week throughout the
growing season. The money the farm
receives helps buy seeds, equipment,
and other farm necessities.
What are Living Acres Farm
growing methods?

The methods we use to farm are
grounded in our love and respect for
the earth. We believe that in order to
produce healthy food, the soil must
first be healthy. To us this means
farming without the use of pesticides
and chemical fertilizers as well as
maintaining a mineralized biologically
active soil. We practice crop rotation,
the use of compost, light tillage,
natural soil amendments, crop diversity
and the promotion of beneficial insects.
