Our Sunday party for Danny Hall went great and it was so great to see so many people
come out and say goodbye. The first leg of the party was at the Hallsport Christian Church
and I dare say its the first major traffic jam that Hallsport has seen in a long while. After we
finally got parked we walked half a mile to the church. Long story short we barely squeezed
in the church and were trapped on the stairway leading to the service. Although about twenty
of us were unable to hear the service we were happy just to be there. Danny was truly
universally liked and the many different people from different walks of life in attendence was
proof of his popularity.
After the service we opened the pub and the whole gang showed up and we got drunk to
lots of old irish drinking songs capped of by Johnny Cash's "Danny Boy". Here is a pic from
the end of the night with the Hall boys. A little foggy but you get the point....ya Danny was
there too!!!!
