Milford Cubicle, aka Kait Ghostly, is throwing a 'Graffiti
Party' this Friday for a change of pace. A new musical
merger has created a band called "SuperStone" and
they bring a hot set list with them. Acid Rock and
magic markers....who could lose?
Anyway the graffiti part of the part is simple... we will
plaster the tables and available wall space with sheets
of white paper, arm the patrons with washable
markers, and go to town. Anyone wearing a white
shirt might be in danger and if they need a white shirt
to wear we will have some available for purchase.
This is virgin territory folks...be part of Better Days
history!!! Half of the cover charge, $5, will go directly
to the Wellsville Volunteer Ambulance Corp, the
people that pick up the pieces when something goes
wrong. Obviously a good cause and it should be a
good time.
The New World HeadQuarters has sad news to
report. "Gertrude" one of the original flock of cosmic
chickens has passed away. 'Gert' had been slowly
deteriorating due to some kind of chronic illness for
some time. She was never in pain, just tired and
listless for a few months, and finally died in her sleep.
She was very social in her last few weeks, usually
opting to hang around me, the dogs, or the cats
during the day while the flock roamed the forest. An
all black bird, she laid a white egg and was known for
her random bursts of conversation. A private
cremation was held and all agreed that "Gert" had a
good life. In memory of this passing Jessica Johnson
will be be penning a guest op-ed in the Daily Report
this week on the abuses of large scale chicken
farming.
