Freezing temperatures mixed with back falling the clocks can put anyone
in a funk.  The seasonal change, lack of sunlight, and on set of winter
effects us all to some extent and I am going to share some tips that I find
ward off the blues.

1)Vitamin D3---- taking one little pill a day replaces the dwindling levels of
D3 in your blood caused by reduced sunlight.  Going to the tanning bed
can accomplish the same thing but then you'll look like crispy bacon.
2)Vitamin B12---- those of you who would admit to seasonal depression
should add straight B12 to your routine and if necessary see a doctor for
a injection of b12.  Put your happy pants on honey!!!
3)Live Music--- There is no substitute for the energy created by live
music.  It grabs your chakras and relieves your mind and body of stress.
Perspectives that weren't considered become obvious, comforting
thoughts rise from rhythm, and electric energy fills spaces that were
empty.  If you can't get out for a concert...download one!!!!
4)Karma Food--- the only way to relieve yourself of negative energy is to
replace it with positive energy.  Volunteer, cook someone a great dinner,
be extra gracious and less selfish...
5)Keep Moving--- Watching the boob tube or vegetating on Facebook
can get your mind in trouble.  Take a long walk, exercise, day trip, build
something, paint your walls funky colors, crank up the tunes and dance
like a loon!!
6)Good Ganja! Nothing can put a smile on your face(one that you can't
wipe off) like finding a good friend and getting stoned silly.  "Lively up
yourself and don't feel no pain!"

Does this work? To your right is a picture of me taken after I have
employed all the tips provided above simultaneously.  Yes I realized that I
have gained weight.....but I'm happy as a hen in the house!!!
