Holy cow did the New Year's Eve party take its toll on me!! We drank and
danced and fussed and fought til the break of day. Even after Texas Hot (fries n
gravy) and some dog hair i still feel like my head is the size of a watermelon.
"The Barley Mob" put on a great show and the pub was busier than expected.
With a total of five live bands within a half mile radius of Better Days we were
planning on a low key evening. Around midnight the place was packed and
everyone had that 'fresh start' twinkle in there eye. Strange how nights like New
Years change our perspective.... for the better i'd say!!
A new decade, started under a full blue moon, with so many issues and
situations up in the air we are all kinda wondering. Will the economy get worse or
better? How will our worldwide conflicts play out? Just how much different will our
world be after this decade is over? So many questions that one has to just settle
on the only answer that is acceptable....I'll do my best no matter what happens.
The next party in the works is a Save the Boobies/Breast Cancer Research
Fundraiser on Saturday Jan 9th...."the Mysterious Blues Band" returns!! Stay
tuned for details!!!!
