Sometimes these things happen and lucky the band stopped in today with some signs and noticed we were
confused about that date. Good thing cause sometimes the band just shows up on the wrong date and we
aren't ready for them or another band is setting up..... it can be a sticky situation!!! I guess there is a reason
that professional musicians have managers. So see you Friday for a brush with fate....
The Cosmic Hens are all still clucking along but a few are having some serious mothering issues...we call it
brooding. Basically what happens is the hen gets into a trance like state on the nest and won't get off unless
she is extracted. I am the extractor of the brooding hen and you'd think I was ripping her wings off with all the
fuss and consternation. Usually I only do this when a line forms...kinda like the ladies bathroom on a busy night
in Better Days. All the girls start lining up to get on the nest and the waiting makes them grouchy and
sometimes aggressive. Sometimes they actually sit on top of the brooding hen, sometimes they fight her off the
nest, or sometime they just squawk and beller at her to move along. This usually is a loud traffic jam so I am
alerted and have to step in to keep production moving. Here is a pick of A Silly Goose, one of three identical
