A Big Happy Birthday to my cuz, Kelly Jean, who turns thirty one
today. Once again I am harkened back to my childhood and one
incident that I must apologize for again. I beat her with a stuffed
raccoon....one of the plastic eyes hit her face....she may have bled
some. I don't know why I did it Kelly. I was a sick child who took
pleasure in tormenting my female playmates. Just be glad I moved on
to reptiles and birds for my sick fix. Have a great year!!!
I'm getting pretty pumped about the band this Saturday night, "Blue
Sky Mission Club", who put on show last October. I would say that it
was in the top five performances since I have commandeered Better
Days. If you like Zydeco Rock....cajun music with a twist... then you'll
be in for a real treat. Bring your sweetheart out on the town.... or hit
the town and find a sweetheart..... Dinner starts at 5pm and we
promise to have some great dinners that won't cost you a tank of gas.
The band will start the groovin around 9:30 and keep the show going
until we close at 2am...... hope to see you there...I'll be the one hoggin
the dance floor :)

The Cosmic Hens and Roo are all braving it through the winter and just turned
7 months old. Having pretty much fully developed now the birds are laying five to
thirteen eggs a day. We've got White Leghorns, a standard Leghorn, a few Dark
Cornish, a Black Astrolorp, a Blue Laced Winedot, a Red Star, a Blue
Andalusian, a few Black Stars, and a pair of Star Spangled Hamburgs. They are
a fun bunch so far, besides the rooster who gets kinda aggressive. That is
easily fixed after a face full of snow and he gets back to managing his hens. So
yes we have fertilized eggs if anyone wants to join the fun!!!
