Another Thanksgiving has come and gone with the usual holiday party spirit and large
gatherings at the pub.  There is something too this holiday season bit.... it just makes people
happier and more pleasant.  Goodwill is a real scarce commodity on this planet at times and its cool
that people get together at the end of the year to, if anything, be glad for being alive.

I'd like to personally thank all the deer hunters who came to town this year and didn't do any of the
normal rotten things.  No hunter/local fights, no women groped or verbally disgraced, and no large
tabs left unpaid.  Puking was very light and no normal destruction to the bathroom fixtures.

I'd also like to thank the "Rhythm Dogs" who played in the pub on Saturday and as usual made
quite an impression.  A group of five really nice guys who just love to crank out the jams.... they
wrapped up the show with there wonderful redo of "Whipping Post" with Brother Dan on harmonica.
That was interesting since its not a song that I have ever heard with the harmonica mixed in....
These guys will be back again Saturday December 18th to kick off the Christmas party.....you
shouldn't miss this show if you like spirited live music.

Speaking of spirited live music
this Friday we have a debut appearance by "The Amity
Parachute Experience"
.  From the creators of the "Mysterious Blues Band" this three
piece jam band has gotten rave reviews from the parishioners of PollyWogg Holler.  The word is
that they play a different batch of music from the norm and will put a big smile on any Deadhead's
face.....  stop in and see!!!!
