If you missed the party Saturday night
you missed Wellsville history. Dave
Garwood had the night of his life....
"I've never had so much fun in my life"
proclaimed "Barbarosa" as we meet on
the street the next afternoon.
"Don't get me wrong I've partied all over
this country, and partied really hard, but
that was the best I can remember".
The night started with Dave down on his
luck...out of money..out of cigarettes..
and thirsty for beer. Before long
cigarettes were no longer a care....beer
was being bought faster than he could
drink it...the band was hoppin.... and then
sister Mo(who was out celebrating her
birthday and had reached the 'mind left
body' stage) danced up a rare storm with
Dave. The dance ended with Dave
pinned against the jukebox smiling like a
surprised schoolboy.
"What a night! I feel like doing it all over
again! Can I get a beer?"
