The mouse in my house fell victim to a chunk of sticky buns about ten
minutes after lights out.  The mini Havahart trap clicked shut and Hum spent
the rest of the night trying to figure out how to get out.  Ya, Hum is what I
named him to commemorate the upcoming debut performance of Hum
Johnson's Country Gold Show, this Thursday night at Better Days.  Anyway
after careful contemplation I decided not to try and tame this little lion and
we brought him downtown for a new life in the big city.  Here are some pics
of Hum on his journey to Main Street Wellsville.

The Verizon debacle has been resolved and all I can say is that I am still
scratching my head.  Apparently the only way to transfer pics to PC from
the Chocolate is to text message them to an email account or to Verizons
online picture page.  The cord that was sold to me, which said
'cameraphone USB adapter' on the package, doesn't really exist in
Verizonland.  Tonya Montana, from Wireless World, was nice enough to
take the phantom cord back and refund my money.  Another thank you to
Tonya for putting up with my daily phone calls and harassment.  So in the
end I found out how to get my pics online and added unlimited picture
messaging to my account so I don't fill the Verizon coffers anymore than
absolutely necessary.

I talked to Jason and Jessica Hunt and they have solidified their return
plans to Wellsville.  As I type Austin is bringing 'little' bro Jason home for a
few weeks of R&R and Jess will be home Oct 25th or so.  So I'm sure there
will be lots of pre-parties in the next week or so but the official "Welcome
Back Jason Hunt Party" is gonna be Friday Oct 27th at Better
Days.....everyone is invited.  In case you didn't know Jason just got back
from his second tour in Iraq and I know he is really looking forward to
getting back to the hills of home.  Please be sure to shake his hand and
thank him for his service and sacrifice.
I want to thank Robert Mitchell Jr.(pictured to the right) for all the spelling
and grammar advice.  Robert you are just like your old man....what a guy.
