More than half way through my first day of my thirties and I can report all is normal.  The Captain
called and woke me up, got up, started a fire, feed the birds, talked to the dogs for a minute,
and then headed downtown.  Now here I am sitting in the blogosphere wondering what to say
about being thirty.....I guess it's pretty cool.

I've been remiss too tell you all about
talking with Deb and Dan Dunham the
other night.  They stopped in to give
me the program from the
ceremony(Medal of Honor) and also
brought one of Jason's 3/7 patches.
To clarify it wasn't one of his personal
patches, they are in much safer
keeping than with me.  We talked
awhile about the trip and the different
ceremonies and state functions they
we the honored guests at.  It was nice
to hear that they were treated so well
and they appreciated the guardian
angel treatment that the Marines gave
their whole family.  What a family to
have endured such a tragedy and then
be able to set such an example for our
whole country.

You may be hearing some talk about
this crazy toy duck execution down at
Better Days this Saturday.  Well I can
say it is almost completely true and
you will have to see this bit of bizarro.
All I can tell you is that at I'd be around
to see it with your own two eyes.
